I receive emails and social media DMs from students, parents and educators who complain about wanting to:

...give up and throw in the towel.

...drop out of school and leave their education behind

...leave the teaching profession and work a 'regular' job

...stop studying and give up hope.

I remember there were times in my academic and corporate career when I wanted to give up pursuing a STEM degree...
